We have a winner from last week's trivia contest! Listen to hear who it was, and what the correct answer was!

Today we will talk about world-renowned Omer Westendorf, the founder of World Library Publications, a well-known publisher of Catholic music, and his own hymn contributions to English-speaking Catholics.

Feasts for the week:
St. Barnabas the Apostle; St. Anthony of Padua; Sacred Heart of Jesus;
Immaculate Heart of Mary. For more information, see the New Advent Website.

Christus Vincit Semi-live in the living room: Hey, we're like, tired, ya know. We've been doing so much time at the softball field lately that it's become our second home. What's nice though is that Brittany made all-stars, so I'm as proud as a dad can be. But today, we go semi-live in the peace, quiet, comfort, and solace of our own living room, while we play and discuss our music for Corpus Christi. We had a Procession after the Saturday Mass as well.

Ave Verum Corpus (music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart)
O Salutaris Hostia (music by Anthony Werner); Jesus, My Lord, My God, My All (tune: Sweet Sacrament)
Holy God, We Praise Thy Name (tune: Grosser Gott); Alleluia! Sing to Jesus (tune: Hyfrydol)
Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence (tune: Picardy), two versions of this hymn appear: the first as arranged by Gustav Holst, sung by the Holy Ghost Choir, the other sung by Fugli, brought to you by Podsafe.

Commercials: Wide Awake Podcast, iPadre Podcasting Network, Disciples with Microphones
Hymnody in Inflationary Language: Alleluia! Sing to Jesus, courtesy of Realtors for God.
