In other news, my parish and thousands like it were filled to capacity last night with Catholics who are obedient, faithful, and who readily submit to the hierarchy of the Church. Ya know, Catholics who ARE concerned about mortal sin. But do WE get a writeup from the AP? Naw. ;)
My church was SRO at the Vigil Mass (4:30) yesterday afternoon. Not exactly a big church, but we were filled, plus the choir room was filled, and still about 20-25 people standing. I'd say a good 400-plus.
The other Masses made it to capacity without having to utilize the choir room for anything but choir use.
