Requiem Matris Meae

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the death of my dear mother, Theresa Page.  She died Tuesday evening (May 31) at about 11:30 PM.  She had been ill for quite some time.  She was a month and a half shy of turning 84.

This Monday, I will be organist and cantor for her funeral Mass at Saint Aidan's Church in Cumberland, RI.  This is the parish where I spent most of my teen years, and was my mother's parish for 39 years.

My mother made two musical requests: Make me a channel of your peace and How Great Thou Art.  Apart from those two, the music will be very much the same material I use at my regular parish, Sacred Heart Church in West Warwick, RI.
