Update on Favorite Drummers post
(Secular Music-Related)

Since hearing Leonid and Friends (killer Chicago tribute band from Russia), I've felt the need to update my favorite drummers post from two years ago.  Here's the new top ten list:

Jim Bonfanti (Raspberries, The Choir, Boxer, Abbey Rodeo)
Michael McBride (Raspberries' fourth album, Cyrus Erie)
Danny Seraphine (Chicago)
Igor Javad-Zade (Leonid and Friends)
Carmine Appice (Beck, Bogert, and Appice, Vanilla Fudge, Rod Stewart, Eric Carmen)
Sir Richard Starkey (aka "Ringo Starr" - had to update that, since he is now knighted)
Keith Moon (The Who)
Animal (of the Muppets - can't forget him)
Anton Fig (CBS Orchestra during David Letterman's late night fame)
The late Karen Carpenter (many knew her as a singer, but she was a hell of a drummer, too!)

Quod scripsi, scripsi!

Neil Peart, Rush. Joh Bonham, Zepplin, perhaps most importantly, Gene Krupa, the one who sort of kicked it all off.
