Joachim wonders why in the world Brian wasn't in Washington, D.C. this past weekend singing the Lassus Missa de Feria and other deliscious polyphonic and chant items....especially since Joachim was mightly loanly standing outside after meals and between sessions.....

Joaquim, my good friend,
BMP can only dream of getting to DC at this point. One must remember that BMP is making musician's pay and supporting a wife and kids, thus making DC a lesser priority.
(hehehe - I couldn't resist talking back in the third person)

You'll definitely have to give me some cool details on the trip. Wish I was there.

+Pax semper vobiscum!

Joachim is a humble musician as well. By the largesse of his parish, he was sent to the Colloquium. Joachim also found that his particular colloquium was a very good deal, since the rather monastic (i.e. Spartan) accomodations and modest meals were included in the [very low] price. Attending this, it is quite possible to spend a week in D.C. for under 500 clams.
