Five of my last six weekends have been three-day weekends. Not complaining one bit. Keeps us active, right? Right.
This Friday is our First Friday Sacred Heart Community Mass. It's also the Memorial for St. John Neumann, a Bohemian-born bishop who came to the United States. He was Bishop of Philadelphia from 1852 until his death in 1860 (at the young age of 48 - incidentally, the age of my father at his death).
