Chant and Polyphony Master - Pontifical North American College

This is where one of my old Holy Name buddies has been spending the last few years. Dylan Corbett, the buddy in question, will be ordained a deacon this fall in Rome. He will be ordained a priest in June 2008 - hopefully here in Providence!

Anyhoo, it is his seminary, the Pontifical North American College in Rome, that is seeking a Chant and Polyphony Master. See Musica Sacra for details.

DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME REMINDER

Don't forget that Daylight Saving Time begins this weekend! Congress expanded DST in the Energy Policy Act of 2005, and we now "spring forward" on the second Sunday of March and "fall back" on the first Sunday of November. Of course if you live in Arizona or Hawaii, it doesn't affect you.

A CHOIR NEEDS HELP

A traditional Catholic group called "Juventutem" is taking part in the World Youth Day festivities in Germany this summer. Also taking part in World Youth Day is none other than Pope Benedict XVI.
