A Lenten Example
In the classic Bugs Bunny episode, What's Opera Doc, based on several operas by Richard Wagner, Elmer breaks the "Thou shalt not kill" commandment (he "killed the wabbit"), then regrets his actions.

A classic. It has been voted the funniest cartoon of all time, and according to Chuck Jones, it very nearly was never made. The animators hid what they were doing from the studio bosses.
