"RUDOLPHUS RUBRINASUS" and
A REALLY BAD "O HOLY NIGHT"

Compliments of The Curt Jester:

A few links to some "favorite" carols, then a really cool invention: the Latin lyric to Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, and even a link to the file of a choir singing it, accompanied by a pipe organ (probably built to theatre specs, but a pipe organ just the same).

Also in the story is a link to a really bad rendition of O Holy Night. I thought being tortured by the Christina Aguilera version was bad, until hearing this. This is from Victor Lams' Free Albums Galore.

Bon appetit!

Brian,
Can't get the Rudolf thing to come up. I mean the Rudolph thing.
Rudolf = Monsignor Schmitz
Ruldolph = Reindeer
Anyhow, that OHN is the most hilariously awful thing I've ever heard. WAY
worse than Captain Kirk singing 'Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds'.

Did you go through the Curt Jester blog? It led me to a link to four different files, and you would just pick one. That's how I got there.

Hope this helps.

I'll try that!
Thanks.

That worked. Very, very cute.
I know amazon sells 'Cattus Pettasatus'(The Cat in the Hat)
and 'Harrius Potter et Philosophi Lapis'.
I don't know about Harry Potter, but I bet 'Cattus Pettasatus' is quite clever.

Ever heard the Cartman (South Park) version of O Holy Night? That's some funny stuff.

So I get presents..."

Yes, I have, Chris. Hilarious. And you did see, of course, how Cartman was all spiffed up with coat and tie, hat was off, and he looked so prayerful about it too, right?

I love a good parody. :-)

Peace,

Hmmmmm... using a cattle prod on choir members.
I think Mr. Garrison might have been on to something.
