Yup, there was such a Mass in Dunn, NC. I was there, albeit late, thanks to traffic, heavy rains, and tornadic activity. At the reception, Bishop Burbidge was greeting everyone, and I mentioned to him the trials and tribulations of getting there. He said he heard similar tales from most everyone, but didn't hear of the tornadoes. It was a small church, seats 160 at the most, but it was SRO, people standing in the aisles and in the back, and there were at least 40 people (myself included) standing outside the church. Way cool. I'll blog on it sometime tomorrow. Watch for it ...

The real test will be the second Mass in this form. The question here: how many were really just rubbernecking?
