Of course, if you read about halfway into the story, it sounds like Trautman and/or some of his cronies are trying to back off on it already.

As I've said often, this is the change we need, rather than more Tridentine Masses. Or just more Latin in the Novus. I'm rather anxiously awaiting the new translation. As my parish moves towards the use of propers, I'm starting to realize just how bad the ICEL propers are.
This calls for a movement to push widespread use of the Ignatius Bible 2nd Catholic Edition.
