THE TRAILERS TALK TOO!

Hat tip to the Ironic Catholic.

As you can tell by the condition of this trailer, a contemporary Christian band known as the Flip Flops once played here - over thirty years ago. Instruments included guitar, banjo, upright bass, tambourine, and washboard. Then the synthesizer came in and wiped out the entire band. Same bad music, but now synthesized. Rumor has it there will be a reunion-slash-revival taking place right in this very field, in front of this very trailer.

Peace,
BMP

Speaking of trailer trash, ironically, I see that town name "West Memphis" painted on the side...that's a booming metropolis on the other side of the river in arkansas....known for trailers and dog racing.

Up in the southern New England region we used to have all sorts of dog racing spots. We still have Lincoln (now augmented by a state run casino, if you even wanna call it one). At one time Lincoln used to be horses. Narragansett Park in Pawtucket used to be a horse track. Now it's a Building 19. At one time Taunton and Raynham (both in MA) had dog tracks. Now it's Raynham only. Taunton is now a big flea market. The nearest horse track to me now is Suffolk Downs (Boston).

I won't bet on dog races. Way too tough, given no rider, dogs get bumped on the first turn, etc. Anything can happen. I like watching them periodically, though.
