NEW FACE, AND NEW LINK ADDED

So, how do you like the facelift I gave the blog? The podcast site got a similar facelift, using white and yellow.

Also, Nick added a new link on the sidebar - the Choral Public Domain Library. Very useful in getting sheet music that is no longer copyrighted, free! I got Stainer's God So Loved the World from there.

Enjoy!

UPDATE 2/22/06: Try this one - the white, with Ordinary Time Green sidebar (I'll make it purple on Ash Wednesday LOL). -BMP

From my perspective (which is that of an aging male with poor vision to begin with), the black on white is difficult to read. I've not yet read the podcast site, but if it is yellow and white, it will be even more difficult to read. Therefore, even though I am tres unhip, I will probably not bother to go there. Sorry.

Perhaps you might bother to think about what most people can comfortably read, rather than some trendoid protocol.

By the bye, you get points for linking to the Choral Public Domain Library. You also get points for having some interesting matter. Don't blow it by persisting in some post-punk black background and white text. If you want to be post punk, try black background and orange text. How Hallowe'en!

By the bye, great weblog. May I link to you?

Actually, by "yellow and white" (podcast site), that is white face with yellow sidebar (all with black text).

As for the link, absolutely. I'll gladly link yours as well.

Peace,

You asked. I've never been to your site before, but the color scheme is not at all easy on the eyes.

Bri,

The white on black is a little much, even for my young eyes. Could you keep with the liturgical color thing you're doing with the side, but make it a paler shade, i.e. the same green you have on the left, but then a really light green for the backdrop?

If I had to choose between this and the red/black, I'd choose the red/black. But then again, it looked just fine before you started meddling...... :-)
