McFERRIN DOES BACH

While a chorus behind him does Gounod

Bobby McFerrin, yes the Bobby McFerrin of Don't Worry, Be Happy fame, knows his classical music well, as he introduces, then sings with "voicestra" behind him, the Bach/Gounod Ave Maria. Hat tip to Puff the Magic Dragon, who got it from Mark Shea.

Peace,

The Milwaukee Symphony Chorus did a show with McF.

(You wanna see "Lost," watch 180 voices try to follow improv-singer's lead...)

His parents are both classical musicians--and yes, he's good.

He IS good. Best one I've heard was his doing nearly the entire first hour of "The Wizard of Oz" in a matter of a few minutes - all the music, that is. And all the parts. Impressive!

Voicestra RULES!
