Looks good! I'm subbing until the end of the month which meant that I got to choose the music.

Yesterday, a choir member floored me as she tore into the music choices. What scandalous hymns did I choose? "All creatures of our God and King" and "Now thank we all our God"

She said how horrible they were, how depressing and how we were going to drive away the kids.

I noted however, that the Saturday night vigil mass had the mission trip kids there for commissioning and they stayed and sang all the verses of the Recessional hymn.

She hates the music that I picked for next week, too. She said, "How come when the music director's gone, we sing horrible music?"

Well, because the MD picks all the schlock, and Argent is picking all the quality music?
