THE BOOKS ARE OPEN ON THIS ONE...

Fr. Z. happily (rightfully so) announces that Fr. Tim Finigan at The Hermeneutic of Continuity is in the running to become the next Archbishop of Westminster. Truthfully, I think he'll do just fine.

Also, Paddy Power, the Irish-based betting website, has odds on said appointment to the See of Westminster.

You may have to click on it to get a more legible picture. But as you see, Fr. Finigan at 10-1 is still a very good shot. I wouldn't mind Cdl. Pell either (he's at 12-1). And, as you can see, Bono is still in the running, despite his being the longshot at 500-1. I like both. In fact, I wouldn't mind Cdl. Pell taking an American archdiocese either (just not St. Louis or St. Paul/Minneapolis).

Is there a daily double? (LOL)
Peace,
BMP

Had to roll my eyes at Bono's inclusion...

Me too Aristotle. Coming from a secular betting/bookmaking website, SOMEONE had to be a longshot (ho ho ho - thus, Bono).
