Impressive!!!
Intermountain Catholic features Mass from the Cathedral of the Madeleine in Salt Lake City, Utah, plus other features from the Salt Lake Diocese. I'm listening to the Mass for V Easter right now - and the music is impressive - very impressive.
Definitely a role model to emulate!
Peace,

Brian,
You've discovered the "brainchild" of Msgr. Francis Mannion, who with the support of the SLC Bishop, reorientated the Madeleine School curriculum along the lines of the traditional Anglican model such as found at great cathedrals such as Grace and St. John the Divine. Monsignor Mannion is to be respected for the vision to implement that curriculum base as that is the single greatest factor in ensuring the future populating of liturgical/musical ministries in that area and wherever their graduates go in their lives. Were each bishop and diocese to have such visionaries who "put their money where their mouths are."
Just wanted you guys to know that the current issue of 'Adoremus Bulletin' arrived
in my mailbox today, and, as usual, I immediately read it cover to cover and, as usual, there
was an excellent article about liturgical music.
I highly recommend subscriptions to this periodical for all music directors, but for now,
here's a link to the article to which I'm referring:

Thanks for the link Cathy. I get Adoremus paid for by the parish as a bene, believe it or not. That's an exception and a half, isn't it?

Yet another concrete example of how your parish really cares.
My thanks to your pastor, and others like him, who make sure we have access to
good Catholic publications.
;)
And let's not forget our east coast counterpart, the Boston Archdiocesan Choir School at St. Paul's Church in Cambridge, MA. That was the brainchild of the late Dr. Theodore Marier.
