BLOGGERS FOR BURKE

This in from Gerald:

A friend of mine had a meeting with Archbishop Burke the other day and 'plugged' my blog. He let the archbishop know how the readers love him and wish they had a bishop just like him. This was a particular nice thing to tell him these days, when the media are rather after him. He expressed his thanks for your affection and well wishes. Just thought I'd let you know :)

Not only readers, but (I think I can safely say) many fellow Catholic bloggers (myself included) will most likely say we need more - many more - bishops like Archbishop Burke. Thus far, I must admit, I'm very happy with Bishop Tobin (I especially love the number he did on Rudy Giuliani's pro-abortion stance). He's done very well here in Rhode Island (the best of any bishop that's been here in a long time). Many aren't so lucky. But these are the prelates I really consider as role models for the Catholic Church in North America. There are a few others I could name as well amongst the best --- Bp. Finn, Bp. Burbidge, Bp. Serratelli, Bp. Slattery, Bp. Provost, and Bp. Bruskewitz.

These, folks, are your CHRISTUS VINCIT REAL BISHOPS! Keep up the great work, your excellencies!

Peace,
BMP
