I have not heard the tune NEANDER (UNSER HERRSCHER) in eons. Way cool tune.

That hymn/tune is the first hymn in the Lutheran Hymnal (1941). It is one of the first tunes I learned to play back when I was 7 or 8 (St. George's Windsor was the first tune I learned).
Now, the next big question - do you do that one in C and try to force out the high E's in the melody, or in B-flat and try to force out the low B-flats?
(For my voice it would have to be B-flat definitely)

Both....start in B-flat, modulate to C as the crucifer enters the front crossing.
